Green Smoothie

Add the following ingredient to your blender in this order.

1 chopped frozen banana
2 peeled chopped oranges
3 slivers of fresh ginger root
1/2 cup shredded carrot
5 romaine leaves, roughly chopped

Pour about 1/2 cup of water over the mixture and blend for about 30 seconds, if you are using a fresh banana you may wish to add a few ice cubes.  Add the yogurt if desired and blend for at least 1-2 minutes for a smooth consistency.

  1. Ginger root - hmmm, I'm gonna have to ease into that one. The banana, however, makes everything delicious and the orange, wow! Sounds delish!

    1. I don't believe the banana dominates the drink, I personally feel the drink is great combination of flavors. But everyone has unique flavor preferences, and I could be wrong.
